Introducing Abi and Madi and their newborn rainbow twin session! You may be wondering what the “rainbow” refers to. A rainbow baby is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, or infant loss. How absolutely special that these are rainbow twins! When their Mommy mentioned doing a rainbow setup, I knew I wanted to incorporate rainbow florals and spent sooo much time finding the perfect arrangement. I love creating a beautiful photo to not only embrace the beauty of the babies but to also honor their loss in a special way.

I absolutely love twin sessions. It’s always so fun to learn the differences between the two of them and by the end of their sessions I usually have a small glimpse of how their personalities will differ. The parents don’t know for sure whether they are identical or fraternal but after photographing them my feeling is they’re fraternal. I’ve photographed several sets of twins and it always amazes me how they are so much more comfortable photographed together rather than individually. These twins also have the most perfect big brother…how cute is he?!?! Mommy brought along her wedding dress to do a photo with too! I just loved this session so much and loved meeting this adorable family!
