Coffee Creek Studio ~ Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Morgan and Drew’s outdoor summer wedding had a beautiful green backdrop that made their wedding party look like they were flowers sprung up from the earth. I loved the lavender bridesmaids’ dresses, and the grey tuxes were the perfect complement to the Coffee Creek Ridge landscape.

Morgan and Drew’s entire wedding party had a great morning getting ready, and they had decided they did not want to do a first look before the ceremony. I love both first looks and not seeing one another until you walk down the aisle. I could never choose which I like photographing more. Either way, the pure love and joy that radiated from their faces are one of my favorite things to photograph. You could tell that Drew could not wait for Morgan to be at his side.

All of the décor was perfectly understated and pretty, and when it came time to cut the cake, Morgan really went for it and made a mess of Drew. He returned her cake shoving antics in a kind way and got her nose with the icing. I love couples who are not afraid to have fun together.

The reception was a blast, and at the end of the night we got a really lovely silhouette of Drew and Morgan standing outside with the raining night sky as a backdrop and a cross beside them…in remembrance of the Groom’s brother.

We wish you many years of love and happiness Morgan and Drew, thank you for letting us be a part of your very special day.
