Coffee Creek Studio ~ Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

The newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Roberts had blue skies and white fluffy clouds for their wedding day. It was also unbelievably hot! The bride and groom and entire wedding party were total troopers though. They had a lovely church wedding, followed by a fun outdoor reception!  It was incredibly special watching the bride get ready in the bridal suite with her daughter! I have been lucky enough to photograph them since Sydney was a newborn!  Her gorgeous little Sydney was her flower girl and there were quite a few heart warming moments I was able to capture between this beautiful mother and daughter.

Sara opted for a non-traditional bridal bouquet. When I saw it I didn’t even have to ask for an explanation, she was so excited to tell me about it. She joked with her fiancé at the time, Matt, that she might just carry a cactus down the aisle instead of a bouquet of flowers. He laughed, but of course probably did not think she’d actually do it. So she surprised him by carrying the bucket of cacti down the aisle. I love this idea, as these will last and remind them of their happy… and funny…wedding day. That’s what I love most about Sara…she’s so light-hearted and funny and so fun to work with. I have really enjoyed her being a client-turned-friend over the years!

The love between parents and kids is so special, and just as special is someone who loves a child like they are their own. As many heartwarming images as I have of Sara and Sydney, we also got quite a few with Sydney and Matt. You can tell these two are going to have a special bond.

The bride and groom finished out the day with some nighttime pictures under the twinkling lights. I wish them nothing but happiness as they embark on their journey through life together! Congratulations Sara, Matt, and Sydney and thank you for choosing me to photograph such a special time in your life!
