Finding your forever photographer can be a daunting task, but when you meet someone who makes it easy for you and truly cares about your family, it can be an amazing gift.

It is truly special as a photographer when you get to witness the major milestones of a family. Coffee Creek Studio has been blessed to follow the journey of several families throughout the past decade. One of those families is the Newman family.

How it all began for the Newman Family

Madison and Brandon Newman chose Coffee Creek Ridge for their wedding. When they booked their venue, they were also introduced to Amy Haehl at Coffee Creek Studio. Amy’s parents own and operate Coffee Creek Ridge and at the time, Amy photographed weddings at the beautiful wedding barn. Madison said, “When we booked our wedding at Coffee Creek and met Amy, it made sense to work with her for our wedding photos. We loved her style of photography and the family connection between Coffee Creek Studio and Coffee Creek Ridge!”

And baby makes three

When Madison and Brandon found out they were expecting their first child, they knew exactly who they wanted to call to photograph this major life event. Madison said, “I love that Amy really wants to build a lasting relationship with her clients. She gets to know you and your whole family.”

Madison has special memories from each of their family’s sessions. “During his newborn session, Carter needed to eat. Once he was back asleep and all wrapped up, he spit-up all over the wraps he was cocooned in. It was an easy transition to the naked baby photos at that point and we were all laughing about it,” recalls Madison.

Toddler sessions can be…tricky!

Carter was back in the studio recently for his one year session. He was not thrilled about it, but Amy and Madison had a trick up their sleeves. “We broke out the goldfish crackers because snacks make everything better! Amy did a great job cropping out the snacks, but it is definitely a fun memory from the session.” Life is about to change for Carter. In August he is going to become a big brother!

Another major milestone on the horizon

Madison is excited to be back in the studio working with Coffee Creek to document another major life event. “My husband doesn’t love having his picture taken, but Amy always makes us feel at home and she just makes it easy. I also really like the new in-person sales system. We loved being able to see samples. You know what you’re getting! The quality is amazing. I love knowing that when we make the investment in photos we are getting top-of-the-line products. I appreciated getting to sit down with Amy for ordering because she really helped guide me,” said Madison.

It has been an honor to be the “forever photographer” for the Newmans. We have loved getting to know the Newman family over the years, and we can’t wait to capture more special memories for their family in 2023.
