Shane and Lisa ~ Batesville Oldenburg Shelbyville Indiana Wedding

Here’s Shane and Lisa’s wedding! Not only was everything about their day beautiful (including them), but they also had the most perfect spring weather…complete with the crab apples blooming! Their wedding took place at the Oldenburg Academy in Oldenburg, IN and then we traveled to Shelbyville, IN for their barn reception at Coffee Creek Ridge. I really enjoyed their wedding ceremony because they were married by Father Landwerlen. He’s the same priest that I spent many years listening to before his retirement and he married my husband and I. He also baptized two of our children.  Even though I already knew Shane and Lisa because they’re my sister’s in-laws, it was so fun getting to know them even better and being a part of their wedding day.  My sister Lori was a bridesmaid and the adorable little girl in the photos is my niece Halle (I can’t believe how much she’s grown since then!).  I always said I would travel after college, but… well… life happened haha and I haven’t traveled much. These two are traveling and living life and I really enjoy following them (and their dog Ira) on their blog!
