Coffee Creek Studio ~ Newborn Photography

I had such a good time with this family for their newborn session. Newborn photography is one of my favorite types of sessions to do. The love new parents are experiencing for their baby is quite a feeling to be around.

I always let my parents know they are welcome to bring a prop or two to their newborn session, though I have more than anyone could ever need. These parents brought the cutest little crown and monster feet from one of mom’s favorite books, “Where the Wild Things Are”. Newborn baby boy Weston looked so cute I could have eaten him up, just like the wild things said they would do to Max in the book!

I saw no eyes this whole session, baby Weston was as sleepy as could be. He looked good in every color, but I think my personal favorite is baby boy on my ocean blue flokati rug. I felt it went well with the Wild Things theme, sailing away, “back over a year, and in and out of weeks, and through a day, and into the night of his very own room…”.

Mom and Dad looked head over heels with their little love. They were completely comfortable in front of my camera, and as tired as they must have been as newborn parents, they didn’t need any reminders to smile. When I smushed them all together for a family squeeze baby Weston got the biggest smile on his face, I think he loves his family as much as they love him.
