Coffee Creek Studio ~ Indianapolis Newborn Photographer

I have so much respect for those who serve in our military and their incredibly brave families who support them at home, so it is always a special session for me when I get to photograph military families welcoming new additions into the world. This black-hawk helicopter pilot and his wife already had a beautiful daughter, and now they are welcoming newborn baby boy Carson!

He is a handsome baby boy, and this gorgeous little girl is so proud to be a big sister. The way she held him gingerly and kissed his little head with care made me swoon. We did some family poses, and then Dad changed into his uniform and baby boy fit in one of his pockets perfectly. I loved the idea of putting the baby in Daddy’s helmet too with my American flag wrap.

We kept the patriotic feeling going for his solo newborn poses as well. I wrapped Carson in the American flag wrap and his tiny toes peaked out at the bottom perfectly. He looked like an American butterfly. Mom had a great hat with his name on it that I knew I had to use in the froggy pose. I even got some awake images of Carson giving me some funny baby faces. He was such a good little newborn that I even was able to get him dressed in a cotton outfit and he hung on to my little stuffed bear just how I wanted.

Thank you so much to this family for their service to our country, and welcome home baby boy Carson!
