Coffee Creek Studio ~ Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Weddings are special all year round, and I can pick out things from each season that I love. Katie and Kyle’s winter wedding was so beautiful with the deep, rich, red dresses of the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen all in deep blue tuxes. The bold colors used in winter weddings are some of my favorite.

The bride and groom had a beautiful wedding ceremony at a church, and we always talk about the groom’s reaction to seeing his bride, but father of the brides tend to have memorable reactions as well. Katie’s father saw her right before he walked her down the aisle and he was speechless. Katie truly was an exceptionally pretty bride.

Katie and Kyle wrote each other letters to read before the ceremony along with gifts. The bridesmaids all held hands and prayed with the bride before the wedding ceremony. All of these things show the love the people surrounding this couple have for them and the hope they have for their future.

The newly married couple had a great reception, playing the fun “Bride or Groom” game with ping pong paddles instead of their shoes! When it was time to toss the bouquet to all the single ladies, and toss the garter to all the single men, it was two kiddos who caught them! They played limbo, and danced in a congo line around the dance floor led by the bride and groom!

I wish Katie and Kyle a lifetime of as much fun as they had on their wedding day!
