Indianapolis Newborn Photographer ~ Coffee Creek Studio

This was a special session for me because newborn baby girl Ruby’s Daddy is a firefighter with my husband. There’s never a time that I’m not honored to be chosen to do a newborn session for people but it’s a truly special thing to know my friends trust me with this precious time in their lives.

Since Daddy is a firefighter, we had to pay homage. I got a little firefighter skirt from  No 2 Willow Lane which worked so perfectly! We used one of my favorite props…my little grey bed from Rozzi Rayne. I love incorporating white pumpkins in the fall so all of the October babies get a setup with one! I also used my favorite cream colored backdrop and wrap with baby girl Ruby from The Indy Cottage. Mommy and Daddy brought a tiny ring that was given to Ruby as a gift. The ring was made by the same jeweler that made their wedding rings. I love incorporating such special and meaningful things!

Ruby was a rainbow baby, and when Mom and Dad want to honor their loss in their newborn sessions I always want to make sure we do that creatively and lovingly. The button rainbow worked out beautifully and it couldn’t have been more perfect when Ruby smiled really big for that photo!

I am so happy I had the privilege of photographing this new family. Welcome to the world little Ruby, you are so loved!
